π«‘WELCOME TO THE TRIBE
Tribal Vision: To create the ultimate RWA platform for asset issuers, buyers, and traders.
We have created a platform to showcase and connect Real World Asset originators and users and also provide opportunities for tokenization of Real World Assets and distribute them in a decentralized and trusted manner.
With the advent of blockchain and crypto assets, decentralized finance (DeFi) has experienced exponential growth since 2019.
This new era of blockchain-powered finance, primarily utilizing automated and distributed smart contracts, has seen issued assets escalate from less than $1 billion in 2019 to over $100 billion in 2022. RWA has attracted at least six million investors by unique addresses. With an increasing number of institutional players entering the RWA and Defi market and an increasing number of RWA Asset originators of multiple types, the overall RWA landscape is projected to grow to over $800 billion by 2025 according to Professor Saulo Santos of University of Manitoba in his article:
The rapid expansion of RWA is primarily driven by its distinctive advantages:
Permissionless Transactions and Flow of Assets: RWA enables trustless, censorship-resistant transactions without the need for intermediary approvals for physical assets.
Financial Privacy: RWA enhances online financial privacy, allowing users to manage their assets without exposing personal details.
Efficiency: Financial transactions and processes in RWA are generally faster and more cost-effective than traditional methods.
Accessibility: RWA provides access to financial services and other kinds of assets to the unbanked, offering a gateway to financial inclusion for millions worldwide.
Parallel to RWA Tokenization in web3 is the traditional financial markets (TradFi), which have historically been the home of the Real World Assets, ranging from equity, bonds, and funds to art, real estate, commodities, and patents. As the DeFi ecosystem matures, the demand to utilize decentralized financial processes for Real World Assets continues to grow. Solutions are imperative to bridge the gap between traditional finance and decentralized finance.
